How long can I make/alter reservations online?
Guest reservations and alterations can be made online starting until May 3, 2024. If you need to cancel your reservation, please email housing@syr.edu.
What room types are available? How much are they?
A room costs: $230 per room for the 2-night weekend package (Friday, May 10 at 5pm – Sunday, May 12 at 5pm).
How many people can be included in my reservation?
A maximum of two adults (18 years of age +) are allowed per room. Up to two children (ages 17 and under) are allowed in a room occupied by up to two adults in a shared space. Children are not permitted to be in their own rooms.
What furnishings are included?
Rooms are furnished with up to two (2) twin-sized beds, dressers, desks, and wardrobes/closets. Based on room size, SU does not provide additional furnishings. Families are welcome to bring a portable crib or an air mattress and linens for the minor(s) occupying the room with one or two adults.
Which residence hall will I be in?
Commencement Housing will take place in Sadler Hall. Upon checking in, you will receive your room number.
Are there any suites available?
No, there are no other room configurations available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Does SU supply any linens or towels?
Yes. A linen packet including linens, pillow, blanket, and towel are included (only 1 packet per bed). Many guests do bring their own or extra bedding needs to make themselves more at home.
I need to arrive before May 10 or stay later than May 12, can you accommodate this?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer accommodations outside of those dates.
I made a reservation for Commencement Housing. When am I able to check-in to my room?
Check-in for commencement housing will take place between 5:00pm-10:00pm on Friday, May 10 at Sadler Hall. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any additional time frames for check-in. You will receive an email from the Conference Services team about a week prior to your reservation with more specific information regarding your commencement stay.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is included.
Are there shuttles available?
Yes, shuttles will be available for guests to utilize during their stay. A shuttle schedule will be provided prior to commencement weekend.
