I.D. Card Not Working

It is important to us that your SUID is working properly. In order for us to assist, please use the guide below to know who to reach out to if your card is not working.

Not working to get into the residence hall you live in:

Please contact housing@syr.edu or stop into 111 Waverly, Suite 111 to get this type of issue resolved.

Not working in the dining halls to use your meal plan:

Please contact housing@syr.edu or stop into 111 Waverly, Suite 111 to get this type of issue resolved.

Not working for access into an academic building:

Academic building access is given by your academic department or building coordinator of that academic building. For more information on building coordinators, please visit the building coordinator page.

When you swipe or tap, nothing happens (no beep or lights change):

Your card may be damaged. Please request a new ID card and select “damaged card.” You will receive an email when your card is ready for pick up in 111 Waverly, Suite 111.
