Eligibility
In order to remain on campus for summer housing, you must meet one of the qualifications below:
- Registered for summer session classes
- Part of a summer internship/campus employment opportunity on campus
- Special circumstances due to inability to leave campus (i.e., international travel)
Priority for students requesting to live on campus for Six-Week Second Session will be given to students who have an on-campus housing assignment for the Fall 2026 semester. In addition, South Campus Apartments for Six-Week Second Session are only available for students who are assigned to live in this location for Fall 2026.
Application
You may access the summer housing application through the Housing self-service portal (via MySlice) beginning in mid-April.

Summer housing for Summer 2026 will be in the following locations:
Ernie Davis Hall*

South Campus Apartments (6 weeks minimum stay)
*A meal plan is required if staying in a North Campus residence hall for the summer

Check In: 5/10/26 between 4-6 p.m.
Check Out: 5/23/26 by noon
*MayMester students living on-campus for the Spring 2026 semester will be notified via syr.edu email prior to their check-in date with instructions on how to move-in to their summer housing assignment.
Six Week First Session:
Check In: 5/17/26 beginning at 12 p.m.
Check Out: 6/27/26 by noon
Six Week Second Session:
Check In: 6/28/26 beginning at 12 p.m.
Check Out: 8/8/26 by noon*
*Students staying until the start of the Fall 2026 semester and have an on-campus housing assignment will need to move to their Fall 2026 space from their summer housing space. Students will be notified via their syr.edu email with more information regarding moving dates and logistics.
