The application for new lease requests for the Marshall is now available for students without a two-year campus housing requirement. Eligible students may complete the application on the housing portal via MySlice.

Application review will begin after March 15th and will continue on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled. Once all beds are filled, the Housing Office will maintain a wait-list of interested students.

Important information:

  • All Syracuse University housing is smoke-free in accordance with the Tobacco-Free Campus policy.
  • Occupancy at The Marshall is a 12-month commitment from August 1 to July 31.
  • Residents at The Marshall are required to carry renter’s insurance for the duration of their agreement.
    • Within the application students have the opportunity to sign up for GradGuard College Renters Insurance offering coverage designed for university life.
      • Students are not required to choose GradGuard as their insurer, but insurance coverage is required. Students who choose to use a different insurer will be required to provide proof of insurance by July 15.
  • Housing charges are billed monthly and must be paid online by the 1st of each month. Instructions on how to pay your monthly bill will be provided after your occupancy request has been approved.

Anticipated** Apartment Rates 2022-23:

  • Studio Apartment (1 student) – $1806 per month per occupant
  • 1 Bedroom Apartment (1 student) – $1989 per month per occupant
  • 2 Bedroom Apartment (2 students) – $1665 per month per occupant
  • 4 Bedroom Apartment (4 students) – $ 1585 per month per occupant

*Utilities and are included in your monthly rate. Internet service will be charged at a rate of $440/year.
