SUPERCARD FOOD


SUpercard FOOD is a declining balance cash account that can be used for the a la carte purchase of food and beverages in all Food Services locations (dining centers, food courts, cafes, and grocery) and in all University vending machines. The account is accessed through your SU I.D. card. The ease and convenience of a FOOD account has made it a very popular Food Services feature.

All University meal plans come with a FOOD account. You may purchase FOOD funds online 24/7, anytime during the academic year. Use your NetID and password to log on to myslice.syr.edu and select "Purchase SUpercard FOOD/PLUS." Be sure to specify FOOD when processing your request.

Unused balances on your FOOD account carry over from fall to spring semester. There are no transfers or carryovers of unused balances in FOOD accounts after June 30. Food and beverage purchases are exempt from New York State sales tax.

Relocation Application (current residents)

The housing relocation application for students wanting to relocate for the spring semester will be available on November 12th, 2009, at 12 noon. Completing the application does not guarantee a relocation opportunity will arise. Any questions regarding this process can be directed to our Service Center in room 206 Steele Hall or via email, housing@syr.edu.

SU has a 2-year live on requirement that we would like to remind our freshmen students and parents about. Recently freshmen parents were sent the Residency Requirement information letter.
