| 15th | Spring Housing Application becomes available via the housing link on MySlice. |
November |
| 12th | Spring relocation application for current residents becomes available 12 noon. |
December |
| 14th | Last day of fall semester classes. |
| 22nd | Halls close for winter break. You should plan to vacate no later than 24 hours after your last final exam. |
January |
| 16th | Residence Halls open at 12 noon. |
| 16th | Housing, Meal Plan, & ID Card Service Center open 10 AM - 4 PM. |
| 16th | South Campus Apartment check in 10 AM - 4 PM. |
| 17th | Housing, Meal Plan, & ID Card Service Center open 12 noon - 4 PM. |
| 17th | South Campus Apartment check in 12 noon - 4 PM. |
| 18th | Housing, Meal Plan, & ID Card Service Center open 10 AM - 4 PM. |
| 18th | South Campus Apartment check in 10 AM - 4 PM. |
| 19th | Regular office hours resume Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM |
| 19th | Spring semester classes begin. |

Relocation Application (current residents)

The housing relocation application for students wanting to relocate for the spring semester will be available on November 12th, 2009, at 12 noon. Completing the application does not guarantee a relocation opportunity will arise. Any questions regarding this process can be directed to our Service Center in room 206 Steele Hall or via email, housing@syr.edu.

Residency Requirement

SU has a 2-year live on requirement that we would like to remind our freshmen students and parents about. Recently freshmen parents were sent the Residency Requirement information letter. We would ask that all freshmen parents and students please take a moment to read the information. You will also find a link to this letter on our Forms + Downloads page.
