Alternative Housing Locations

The university is also housing students in 3 alternative facilities for the 2014-15 academic year. The facilities are: University Village Apartments on Colvin & Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center.

University Village Apartments on Colvin
315 Small Road

University Village Apartments will house 148 men and women within several of the complex's residential apartment units. All apartments are single gender four bedroom apartments where four students each have private bedrooms with their own bathroom. Each apartment also contains a lounge and full kitchen with all appliances including a dishwasher and microwave as well as in-unit laundry. The complex also includes several social/study lounges, a fitness center, a small cinema and game room. The complex is located directly on the University's South Campus shuttle route which allows for free transportation to and from main campus.

Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center
801 University Avenue

The University Sheraton will house 66 men and women on one floor. All rooms are single gender and are coed by alternating rooms. All rooms are large open doubles with baths and contain a full-bed, desk, dresser, and wardrobe for each resident. The building also contains a fitness center, pool, and laundry for residential use. Dining options within the Hotel are not associated with the University's meal plans. The building will be staffed by Syracuse University resident advisors and residential security aides.

Returning Student Application Update

The returning student application for those students not obligated to the 2 year residency requirement is no longer available. The office of Off-Campus and Commuter Services is a resource to those students living off-campus. While the office does not maintain housing listings they have pertinent information related to what you should know about living off campus and renting an apartment.
